I’m Mary. I like to travel slowly, mostly on foot, mostly alone, and almost always with some sense of purpose beyond the destination. This blog began with a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in May 2023, and continued with a walk following in the footsteps of St Benedict through Italy that summer. It is a place for photographs, reflections, and the occasional wrong turn.
